New DVLA Number Plates For EV
The new DVLA number plates for 2019 launch today, but could you get a better deal on an electric vehicle by not getting a new registration?
Everyone loves getting a new car and a big part of this is letting everyone know you have a new car, from today this will be signified with the new ’19’ registration plate. The number ’19’ represents the car has been registered between March 1st and August 1st, but opting for a new electric vehicle that has already been registered could save you thousands of pounds.
In an article by the express news website, they explore ‘pre-registered’ cars and how this trick could save you money. They explain that “the reason they are offered at a discounted price is that the dealership has already registered the vehicle which technically makes you the sound owner despite the car being brand new with extremely low mileage”.
